{Treasure}

On the Bloom Forum each week, throughout the year, we receive a theme and interpret that in any way we see fit. Photos are posted on our blogs with a link to another blog below the photo. So don’t forget to click on the link to go to the next photographer’s blog. Keep clicking through all the blogs to see some amazing work!

This week’s theme is “Treasure”. Well, I had the hardest time coming up with something.  I noticed my little girl playing with her Littlest Pet Shops. She does TREASURE her Little Pet Shops…  She left her little animals at the table this morning so, I snapped a few photos.

You can find these little animals all over our home- in kitchen cabinets, under the couch, in the bed, in shoes. You never know when the next one will appear.  When she was three years old, the only  Christmas gift she would play with  was her hamster Pet Shop; we  spent some serious money on Christmas and all she really wanted was the hamster.

She would try and sneak hamster to preschool every morning after Christmas break.  The  morning of her Spring  Program Riley did ended up  getting out of the house with hamster in her pocket.  He made an appearance in the middle of her class song.  We have this little production on video and laugh every time at the part where hamster emerges from her skirt pocket. You can hear my husband on the video say, “What is she doing?” He  then laughs ” it’s that hamster” . :) It is a  silly memory that my husband and I  treasure.
